 August 2007 - With a sweep of 5 Awards at the Epson NZ Iris Professional Photography Awards 2007 to add to his successes in previous years, Bruce is awarded the honour of Master of Photography (M. Photog) by the NZ Institute of Professional Photography in recognition of his photographic excellence.

June - July 2007 - Auckland Professional Wedding Photographer, Bruce Gabites takes part in the acclaimed "People"- a NZ Institute of Professional Photography Group Exhibition. This photographic exhibition - a collection of unique shots, held in the Vero Centre foyer in downtown Auckland, was part of the 2007 Auckland Festival of Photography.

December 2006 - Auckland Professional Photographer, Bruce Gabites was a part of The Child Cancer Foundation's "Fun Razor" event, photographing "shave your lid for a kid" where 800 participants throughout NZ created a new Guinness World Record for the most haircuts in an hour.
